This course has been specifically designed to meet the criteria set by the Department of Education's EYFS Framework and is ideal for:
👉 Individuals who have obtained a level 2 and/or level 3 childcare qualification and have started working in an early years setting, aiming to meet the staff-to-child ratios required by the EYFS.
👉 Registered childminders and assistants who need to comply with the EYFS requirements by holding a current and full paediatric first aid certificate.
👉 Parents, grandparents, or anyone with a non-professional involvement with infants and children, seeking to learn critical paediatric first aid skills.
Furthermore, newly qualified entrants to an early years setting who have completed a level 2 and/or level 3 qualification on or after June 30, 2016, must obtain a full paediatric first aid or an emergency paediatric first aid certificate within three months of commencing work. 📅
This course runs from 9:00 - 16:00.
Learners must be at least 14 years old and capable of performing practical tasks at floor level on the first day of training. 🧒📏
